Nevada Licensed Utilization Management Nurse

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Utilization Management Nurse RN - Remote PST Hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Determine the appropriateness of inpatient and outpatient services based on medical guidelines and benefit determination
• Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems
• Act as a resource for others by providing explanations and information on difficult issues

Required Qualifications

• Unrestricted RN license in state of residence
• 3+ years of Managed Care and/or Clinical experience
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel
• Utilization Management experience
• Experience working with multiple EMRs (electronic medical records)
