Nevada Licensed Vice President of Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting support and coordinate with subsidiaries for accounting analysis and reporting impacts
• Provide guidance on complex transactions and draft accounting position papers
• Oversee periodic filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission and provide audit support

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in technical accounting and SEC reporting, preferably in a multinational public company
• 6+ years of experience in audit or accounting consulting, with a preference for Big 4 experience
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with expertise in GAAP and SEC regulations
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
