Job Summary

To establish collaborative relationships with patients and caregivers, the full-time Nevada Referral Specialist will manage referral processing, ensure compliance with insurance requirements, and enhance patient satisfaction while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Effectively identifies and resolves patient, provider, and staff requests related to referrals and scheduling
• Acts as a liaison between hospitals, physicians, and patients to facilitate insurance authorization for referrals
• Documents referral information accurately and follows up with patients through multiple communication channels

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated experience using multiple business software applications and insurance web portals
• Prior experience in healthcare
• Associate degree or higher preferred
• One year of experience with referral services or related fields preferred
