Job Summary
Supporting patient access to medications, the fully remote New Hampshire Licensed Pharmacy Technician will facilitate medication approvals through communication with insurance providers and healthcare professionals, while managing pharmacy operating systems and documenting patient interactions.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate medication approvals by communicating with insurance companies and healthcare providers regarding prior authorizations
- Document patient concerns and prior authorization status within databases and electronic medical records
- Assist patients with pharmacy insurance claims and medication access challenges while promoting medication adherence
Required qualifications
- Active New Hampshire Pharmacy Technician License
- Ability to acquire National Pharmacy Technician Certification within a 9-month contingency period, if not already certified
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience
- Strong familiarity with Test Claims, Adjudication, and Prior Authorization and Appeals processes
