Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Counsel (Hybrid).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide underwriting support, counsel, and authorization for real estate title insurance commitments and policies
• Utilize underwriting standards and guidelines to underwrite title insurance issuance
• Prepare and present educational content for company personnel, agents, and customers

Required Qualifications

• Law Degree required
• Admitted to practice in the state of employment
• 5+ years of title underwriting experience; commercial experience preferred
• Familiarity with real estate law and federal/state regulations
• Strong understanding of real estate title and settlement processes
