New Hampshire Medicaid Case Reviewer

Job Summary

To support the processing of financial eligibility determinations for New Hampshire Medicaid Long-Term Care assistance, the remote Medicaid LTC Financial Eligibility Case Reviewer will manage a caseload, conduct virtual interviews with applicants, and maintain accurate documentation while adhering to state and federal regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned caseload and complete eligibility determination tasks within specified timelines while upholding confidentiality protocols
• Schedule and conduct virtual interviews with applicants to review documentation and provide education on financial eligibility criteria
• Utilize state case management systems to develop and submit eligibility recommendations in accordance with state policy and federal Medicaid rules

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college training preferred
• 1-3 years of experience with eligibility reviews for public programs, preferably Medicaid or Medicaid LTC
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing
• Must have a private workspace and reliable high-speed internet connection
• Employment is contingent on completion of a background check
