New Hampshire Medicaid Case Reviewer

Job Summary

To support the processing of financial eligibility determinations for New Hampshire Medicaid Long-Term Care assistance, the part-time hourly Medicaid Eligibility Case Reviewer will manage a caseload, conduct virtual interviews with applicants, and maintain accurate documentation remotely during set business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned caseload and complete eligibility determination tasks within State-specified timelines while upholding confidentiality and security protocols
• Schedule and conduct virtual interviews with applicants to review application documentation and provide education on financial eligibility criteria
• Utilize State case management systems and tools to develop and submit eligibility recommendations in accordance with State policy and federal Medicaid rules

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college training preferred
• 1-3 years of experience performing reviews for public programs, with a preference for Medicaid or Medicaid LTC eligibility experience
• Ability to speak, read, and write English clearly and concisely
• Must have a private workspace and reliable high-speed internet connection
• Employment is contingent on completion of a background check
