Job Summary

A company is looking for a Virtual Teacher of the Visually Impaired to provide specialized instruction and support to K-12 students with mild to moderate visual impairments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering engaging and effective virtual instruction to students
• Conducting assessments to evaluate students' visual impairments and educational needs
• Collaborating with school teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that address students' unique learning requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Certification or endorsement as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
• Prior experience working with visually impaired students in an educational setting
• Familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and the ability to develop and implement them effectively
• Proficiency in using digital platforms for remote instruction
• A strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of visually impaired students
