New Jersey Housing Specialist

Job Summary

To support community-based housing initiatives, the full-time New Jersey Housing Specialist will identify, secure, and maintain housing options for MLTSS/SNP/Medicaid members while providing education and resources to relevant staff and stakeholders in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a housing strategy for MLTSS/SNP/Medicaid members
• Identify and manage resources for housing options and assist with member placements
• Provide education to staff regarding housing resources and complete state-required reports

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Three years of experience assisting vulnerable populations in securing housing
• Two years of experience in a public agency or social service field
• Familiarity with public and private housing resources, including HUD and DCA programs
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and Managed Long Term Services and Supports (MLTSS)
