New Jersey Licensed Addiction Psychiatrist

Job Summary

To support a growing behavioral health organization, a New Jersey Licensed Addiction Psychiatrist will conduct psychiatric evaluations, provide medication management, and oversee treatment plans, working full-time or part-time with a hybrid schedule that includes on-site and virtual care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments
• Provide medication management for patients with substance use disorders
• Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Required qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified in Psychiatry
• Board Certified in Addiction Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine strongly preferred
• Experience treating patients with substance use disorders in various treatment settings
• Active New Jersey medical license (or ability to obtain) and active DEA registration
