New Jersey Licensed Appeals Analyst

Job Summary

Managing a caseload of complex disability appeals, the full-time Senior Appeals Analyst - LTD will evaluate claims, utilize specialty resources, and identify opportunities for improved claim management while delivering exceptional customer service in a remote or onsite environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an assigned caseload of complex disability appeals
• Utilize internal and external clinical, vocational, and legal experts effectively
• Identify opportunities for improved claim management across the organization

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in stand-alone Long Term Disability claims required
• Disability Appeals experience highly preferred
• Working knowledge of ERISA appeal requirements and state-specific disability regulations
• College Degree preferred
• Proficiency with claim systems and Microsoft Office applications
