Job Summary

A company is looking for an Employee Benefits Underwriting Consultant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze health and welfare program data to develop renewal projections and rate recommendations
  • Serve as the primary underwriting resource for assigned clients, supporting various funding arrangements
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to optimize pricing and ensure compliance with underwriting standards
Required Qualifications
  • 2-5+ years of experience in employee benefits underwriting or actuarial services
  • Bachelor's degree, CEBS/other professional designation, or equivalent work experience required
  • Life & Health insurance license (or willingness to obtain)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with actuarial modeling tools
  • Technical experience with BenefitPoint, AI, and Benefit Administration Systems is preferred
