Job Summary
A company is looking for an Employee Benefits Underwriting Consultant.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze health and welfare program data to develop renewal projections and rate recommendations
- Serve as the primary underwriting resource for assigned clients, supporting various funding arrangements
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to optimize pricing and ensure compliance with underwriting standards
Required Qualifications
- 2-5+ years of experience in employee benefits underwriting or actuarial services
- Bachelor's degree, CEBS/other professional designation, or equivalent work experience required
- Life & Health insurance license (or willingness to obtain)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with actuarial modeling tools
- Technical experience with BenefitPoint, AI, and Benefit Administration Systems is preferred
