New Jersey Licensed Business Development Manager

Job Summary

Leading a hybrid team in Morristown, NJ or working remotely nationwide, the full-time New Jersey Licensed Business Development Manager will oversee carrier placement resources, strengthen partnerships, and collaborate with Sales and Client Service teams to deliver optimal insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and mentor Carrier Placement Specialists, fostering a high-performance team culture
• Collaborate with Client Advisors and Account Management teams to define and execute marketing strategies
• Oversee the placement of new and renewal business, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred
• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in commercial insurance
• Demonstrated expertise in transportation & logistics risks
• Advanced experience with Applied EPIC, including managing submissions and workflows
