Job Summary

To support efficient claims processing, the part-time New Jersey Licensed Claims Processor will review and process insurance claims remotely, verifying policy coverage, evaluating claim validity, and ensuring compliance with regulations while interacting with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Review insurance claims by verifying policy coverage and gathering necessary information
• Interact with policyholders and agents to facilitate the claims process and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Provide support to litigation and legal departments with disputes, appeals, and settlements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience required
• Prior carrier or adjuster experience
• Knowledge of New Jersey No Fault PIP regulation, with 2-3 years preferred
• Minimum of 2 years in medical billing or claims processing background
• Proficiency in claims systems and Microsoft Office Suite
