New Jersey Licensed Clearance Officer

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and self-motivated, the full-time New Jersey Licensed Clearance Officer will manage purchase and refinance transactions, examine legal documents related to title insurance, and collaborate with clients and attorneys to clear title exceptions, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Read and clear purchase and refinance transactions for residential properties
• Examine abstracts, leases, contracts, and other legal documents to identify title insurance and legal issues
• Collaborate with title agency clients and attorneys to prepare titles for closing and review title policies

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Title Insurance
• Strong knowledge of SoftPro Select is a plus
• Experience with New York and national transactions
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills
