New Jersey Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Documentation Specialist Manager to oversee the Clinical Documentation Management program for multiple hospitals.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the performance and expectations of Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) Specialists and collaborate with various healthcare professionals
• Implement strategic planning and ensure compliance with documentation guidelines across the hospitals
• Provide education and collaboration to enhance documentation practices and monitor productivity and financial oversight

Required Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• New Jersey Registered Nurse License is required
• Certification CDIP or CCDS preferred, or must obtain within one year of employment
• Prior experience as a Clinical Documentation Specialist is required, with a minimum of two years preferred
• Understanding of ICD-10-CM coding requirements is necessary
