Job Summary
Ensuring the quality and completeness of medical record documentation, the full-time New Jersey Licensed Clinical Documentation Specialist will facilitate modifications through collaboration with healthcare teams, support accurate documentation for reimbursement, and educate staff while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure overall quality and completeness of medical record documentation
- Facilitate modifications to clinical documentation through interaction with healthcare providers
- Support timely and accurate documentation of clinical information for reporting outcomes
Required qualifications
- New Jersey RN License preferred or CCS, CPC, or RHIT certification
- Knowledge of medical record documentation requirements and coding guidelines
- Related computer knowledge of Epic is a plus
- Critical thinking and analytical skills
- Ability to educate and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
