Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare providers regarding medication-related issues
• Provide medication counseling, ensure proper documentation, and oversee pharmacy technicians for compliance with policies and procedures
• Review, prepare, and approve prescription orders while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• BS in Pharmacy; PharmD preferred
• Active pharmacy license in the state of residence and ability to obtain a NJ license within 90 days of hire
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmacy distribution and packaging, with exposure to geriatrics or chronic care management
• Preferred: Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacy Specialty Certification (BCGP) and experience in clinical pharmacogenomics
• Registered or eligible for registration with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy
