Job Summary
To support patient care, the full-time New Jersey Licensed Clinical Pharmacist will manage medication-related issues, ensure compliant medication distribution, and oversee pharmacy operations while working remotely on a 7 on/7 off schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a primary contact for patients, families, and healthcare providers to address medication-related problems and provide pharmacotherapy guidance
- Ensure accurate and timely medication distribution and fulfillment, maintaining compliance with legal and policy requirements
- Oversee pharmacy technicians and manage procedures for medication compounding, packaging, and labeling
Required qualifications
- BS in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred
- Current, active pharmacy license in New Jersey or the ability to obtain one within 180 days of hire
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmacy distribution and packaging, preferably with exposure to geriatrics or chronic care management
- Strong technical skills to navigate proprietary pharmacy software and propose operational improvements
- Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations, including HIPAA compliance
