New Jersey Licensed Controller

Job Summary

Leading the company's accounting and financial operations, the full-time remote New Jersey Licensed Controller will manage day-to-day accounting across multiple entities, oversee the full accounting cycle, and ensure financial accuracy and compliance while collaborating with executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including the full accounting cycle and monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Manage multi-entity accounting and reporting, delivering accurate financial statements and insights for executive leadership
• Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning

Required Qualifications

• 8-10 years of progressive accounting leadership experience, preferably at the Controller level in organizations with $150M+ in revenue
• Deep experience in creative agencies, digital marketing, MarTech, or consulting firms
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite; QuickBooks Online and BambooHR experience preferred
• Proven expertise in multi-entity accounting and complex financial consolidations
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or MBA preferred
