Job Summary
To ensure robust cybersecurity measures, the remote Lead Palo Alto Cyber Specialist will manage the implementation and oversight of Palo Alto Firewall and SASE systems while monitoring network performance and responding to security incidents on a contract-to-hire basis.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and manage Palo Alto Firewall and SASE security systems
- Monitor network performance and respond to security incidents and requests
- Coordinate security policies between SASE components and manage EDR deployments
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks platform and Strata Cloud Manager
- Experience with SASE security implementations
- Direct experience with Cortex XDR and managing EDR deployments across various OS and devices
- Strong background in cybersecurity principles and practices
