Job Summary
To support the First Responder Peer Services programs, the Per Diem Healthcare Provider will provide assessments for first responders throughout New Jersey, ensuring quality and consumer-friendly access to behavioral health services, with flexible work arrangements available.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in handling telephone calls and service requests effectively and in a consumer-friendly manner
- Perform clinical assessments and schedule appointments as necessary based on feedback from receiving units
- Assist in supervising daily operations of the First Responder Peer Services programs when needed
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree plus one year of work experience in the human services field
- At least three years of experience as a firefighter, Corrections Officer, EMS professional, or retired law enforcement officer
- Active New Jersey certification/licensure in Social Work for applicants with a degree in that field
- Valid driver's license required
