New Jersey Licensed Litigation Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for a New Jersey Litigation Attorney (Remote) with extensive experience in civil litigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage active New Jersey civil litigation matters from early case assessment through resolution, including discovery and trial preparation
• Draft and argue motions, take and defend depositions, and appear in court as needed
• Work directly with clients and collaborate with partners on complex matters while mentoring junior lawyers

Required Qualifications

• New Jersey-licensed attorney with 7+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense
• Experience managing a caseload independently, including discovery and trial preparation
• Direct trial or second-chair experience is highly valued
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Located in New Jersey and willing to come into the office occasionally
