New Jersey Licensed Loan Processor

Job Summary

Providing quality customer service in a remote environment, the full-time New Jersey Licensed Loan Processor will manage the loan documentation process, ensuring compliance with regulations while assisting customers and Loan Officers throughout the underwriting process.

Key responsibilities

• Perform thorough reviews and analyses of borrowers' credit, employment, income, and assets prior to underwriting submission
• Assemble complete loan packages and verify all required documentation for accuracy and compliance
• Communicate with various stakeholders to obtain necessary third-party documentation and manage the loan pipeline effectively

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of residential mortgage processing experience, particularly in retail lending
• Experience managing a pipeline of up to 50 loans simultaneously
• Familiarity with various loan types, including FHA, VA, and Jumbo loans
• Knowledge of NJ and NY state-specific lending requirements and compliance standards
