New Jersey Licensed Medical Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Director to support clinical teams in outpatient and intensive outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision to psychiatric nurse practitioners, including chart reviews and performance feedback
• Deliver direct psychiatric care to patients, including evaluations and treatment for complex mental health and substance use disorders
• Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer on clinical initiatives and maintain accurate EMR documentation

Required Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school with completed psychiatry residency; board eligible/certified by ABPN
• Fellowship training or expertise in Addictions or Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry preferred
• 1-3 years post-residency outpatient experience preferred; prior NP supervision ideal
• Active, unrestricted medical license in NY, NJ, or PA; willingness to obtain additional licenses
• Familiarity with collaborative care models and interventional treatments
