New Jersey Licensed Medical Director

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare organization, the full-time New Jersey Licensed Medical Director will provide leadership and daily support for assigned providers in areas such as utilization management, care management, and quality management while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a personal caseload of medical management activities and oversee the performance of nurse reviewers on various review issues
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with providers, conducting performance reviews and coaching as necessary
• Analyze data related to case management and utilization, identifying key issues and collaborating on performance improvement initiatives

Required qualifications

• Active and unrestricted MD or DO license to practice medicine in New Jersey
• Board Certification in an American Board of Medicine recognized specialty
• 5-7 years of clinical experience with a focus on managing data and developing recommendations
• Proficiency in Tableau or similar data analysis software
• Knowledge of utilization management, case management, and quality management principles
