Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mental Health Specialist II.

Key Responsibilities

• Interact with clients in a therapeutic manner and model effective communication and coping skills
• Assist clients in identifying personal recovery goals and develop interventions based on their needs
• Advocate for appropriate resources and facilitate structured skill trainings on various mental health issues

Required Qualifications

• Four years of full-time paid experience in a mental health or human service field, or a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• Ability to recognize and respond to clients' emotional, psychiatric, or behavioral changes
• Experience in providing assessment and support services
• Willingness to handle phone requests under time pressure
• Capability to lift up to 20 lbs and walk throughout the program space
