Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mental Health Specialist II to provide support and services for clients of the 988 Lifeline Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Interacts with clients in a therapeutic manner and models effective communication and coping skills
• Assists clients in identifying personal recovery goals and determines appropriate interventions
• Develops and maintains relationships with clients to address emotional, psychiatric, or behavioral changes

Required Qualifications

• Four years of full-time paid experience in a mental health or human service field, or a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• Ability to handle phone requests under time and decision-making pressure
• Experience in crisis intervention
• Capability to lift up to 20 lbs
• Comfortable working in a clean, well-lighted environment with moderate noise levels
