Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mental Health Specialist II to support the 988 Lifeline Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Interacts with clients in a therapeutic manner and models effective communication and coping skills
• Assists clients in identifying recovery goals and determining appropriate interventions
• Advocates for resources based on assessed client needs and maintains relationships to monitor changes requiring intervention

Required Qualifications

• Four years of full-time paid experience in a mental health or human service field, or a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• Ability to handle phone requests under time pressure
• Experience in crisis intervention
• Physical capability to lift up to 20 lbs and walk throughout the program space
• Ability to work in a clean, well-lighted environment that may vary in noise levels
