Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mental Health Specialist II to support the 988 Lifeline Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and assess requests for service via telephone, chat, or text
• Provide support and appropriate referrals based on client needs
• Demonstrate competency in recognizing and addressing the unique needs of clients

Required Qualifications

• Four years of full-time paid experience in a mental health or human service field, or a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• Ability to handle phone requests under time and decision-making pressure
• Experience in crisis intervention
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 20 lbs
• Willingness to work in a setting that may vary from quiet to moderately loud
