Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mental Health Specialist II.

Key Responsibilities

• Interacts with clients in a therapeutic manner and models effective coping and recovery-oriented living skills
• Assists clients in identifying personal recovery goals and develops interventions based on those goals
• Advocates for appropriate resources for clients based on assessed needs

Required Qualifications

• Four years of full-time paid experience in a relevant mental health or human service field, or a Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Experience in providing support and assessment for clients in a mental health setting
• Ability to handle phone requests under time and decision-making pressure
• Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift up to 20 lbs
• Willingness to work in a setting that may involve crisis intervention
