Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mental Health Specialist II.

Key Responsibilities

• Interacts with clients in a therapeutic manner and models effective communication and recovery-oriented living skills
• Assists clients in identifying personal recovery goals and determines appropriate interventions
• Advocates for resources based on assessed client needs and maintains relationships to monitor emotional or behavioral changes

Required Qualifications

• Four years of full-time paid experience in a mental health or human service field, or a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• Competency in assessing client needs and providing appropriate support
• Ability to work under time and decision-making pressure
• Experience in crisis intervention
• Physical capability to handle demands such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 20 lbs
