Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mental Health Specialist II.

Key Responsibilities

• Interacts with clients in a therapeutic manner and models effective communication and coping skills
• Assists clients in identifying personal recovery goals and determining appropriate interventions
• Advocates for resources based on assessed needs and maintains relationships with clients to monitor changes requiring intervention

Required Qualifications

• Four years of full-time paid experience in a relevant mental health or human service field, or a Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Competency in recognizing client needs and applying relevant assessment and support skills
• Ability to handle phone requests under time and decision-making pressure
• Experience working in crisis intervention settings
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs and stand or walk throughout the program space
