Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mental Health Specialist II.

Key Responsibilities

• Interacts with clients in a therapeutic manner and models effective communication and coping skills
• Assists clients in identifying personal recovery goals and setting objectives
• Advocates for appropriate resources based on assessed needs and maintains client relationships

Required Qualifications

• Four years of full-time paid experience in a relevant mental health or human service field, or a Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Competency in recognizing and addressing unique client needs
• Ability to develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients
• Experience in crisis intervention and support
• Knowledge of recovery-oriented practices and self-help strategies
