New Jersey Licensed Mental Health Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Supervising Mental Health Specialist (First Responders).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, training, development, and supervision to assigned staff within the First Responder Peer Services team
• Ensure effective handling of telephone calls and service requests in a consumer-friendly manner
• Assess and respond to service requests and referrals according to prescribed procedures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant social or health care field, plus one year of full-time experience in a psychiatric, addiction rehabilitation, or health care setting
• Experience as a firefighter, Corrections Officer, EMS professional, or retired law enforcement officer
• Active New Jersey certification/licensure in Social Work if applicable
• Valid driver's license required
• Equivalent education, experience, and/or training may be substituted for the degree requirement
