Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mental Health Specialist II - Per Diem.

Key Responsibilities

• Interacts with clients in a therapeutic manner and models effective coping and communication skills
• Assists clients in identifying recovery goals and determining appropriate interventions
• Advocates for resources and facilitates structured skill training on various mental health issues

Required Qualifications

• Four years of full-time paid experience in a relevant mental health or human service field, or a Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Ability to recognize and respond to the unique needs of clients
• Experience in providing support and appropriate referrals to clients
• Competency in crisis intervention and managing high-pressure situations
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 20 lbs
