Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mental Health Specialist II.

Key Responsibilities

• Interacts with clients in a therapeutic manner and models effective living and coping skills
• Assists clients in identifying personal recovery goals and determining interventions based on their needs
• Advocates for appropriate resources and may facilitate structured skill trainings on mental health issues

Required Qualifications

• Four years of full-time paid experience in a relevant mental health or human service field, or a Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Competency in recognizing unique client needs and applying relevant assessment skills
• Ability to develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients
• Experience in crisis intervention and handling requests under pressure
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 20 lbs
