Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mental Health Specialist II.

Key Responsibilities

• Interacts with clients in a therapeutic manner and models effective communication and coping skills
• Assists clients in identifying personal recovery goals and develops interventions based on those goals
• Maintains relationships with clients to monitor emotional and behavioral changes and advocates for appropriate resources

Required Qualifications

• Four years of full-time paid experience in a relevant mental health or human service field, or a Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Experience in providing customer-friendly services and assessments
• Ability to work under time and decision-making pressure
• Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift up to 20 lbs
• Experience in crisis intervention is preferred
