Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mental Health Specialist II - Per Diem.

Key Responsibilities

• Interacts with clients in a therapeutic manner and models effective coping and self-help strategies
• Assists clients in identifying personal recovery goals and determining appropriate interventions
• Advocates for resources and maintains relationships to monitor clients' emotional and behavioral changes

Required Qualifications

• Four years of full-time experience in a mental health or human service field or a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• Ability to perform assessments and provide appropriate referrals based on client needs
• Experience in crisis intervention and handling requests under pressure
• Competency in recognizing and addressing the unique needs of clients
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 20 lbs as required
