Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mental Health Specialist II.

Key Responsibilities

• Interacts with clients in a therapeutic manner and models effective communication and coping skills
• Assists clients in identifying personal recovery goals and determining appropriate interventions
• Develops relationships with clients to monitor emotional and behavioral changes, providing referrals as needed

Required Qualifications

• Four years of full-time paid experience in a mental health or human service field, or a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• Ability to perform under time and decision-making pressure
• Experience in crisis intervention
• Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift up to 20 lbs
• Ability to work in a clean, well-lighted environment with varying noise levels
