Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mental Health Specialist II - Full Time for the NJ Hopeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Models good communication and recovery-oriented living skills for clients
• Accepts and responds to service requests via calls, chats, and texts in a timely manner
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of resources and programs to provide appropriate client referrals

Required Qualifications

• Four years of full-time paid experience in a mental health or human service field, or a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• Ability to perform assessments and make appropriate dispositions based on client needs
• Experience collaborating effectively with staff and referral sources
• Proficiency in documenting client contact information according to departmental protocols
• Ability to handle phone requests under time and decision-making pressure
