Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mental Health Specialist II - Per Diem.

Key Responsibilities

• Interacts with clients in a therapeutic manner and models effective communication and coping skills
• Assists clients in identifying personal recovery goals and setting objectives for interventions
• Develops relationships with clients to monitor emotional and behavioral changes and advocates for necessary resources

Required Qualifications

• Four years of full-time paid experience in a mental health or human service field, or a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• Ability to handle phone requests under time pressure
• Experience with crisis intervention
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 20 lbs
• Willingness to work in a clean, well-lighted environment that may vary in noise levels
