Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mental Health Specialist II (Per Diem) for the NJ Hopeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support and appropriate referrals based on client assessments received via phone, chat, or text
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of resources and programs to guide clients effectively
• Document all client interactions and maintain accurate data in the unit's information system

Required Qualifications

• Four years of full-time experience in a mental health or human service field, or a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• Ability to handle phone requests under time and decision-making pressure
• Experience in crisis intervention
• Physical capability to lift up to 20 lbs and walk throughout the program space
• Willingness to work in varying conditions, including moderate noise levels
