Job Summary

Providing essential support for the 988 Lifeline Services, the part-time New Jersey Licensed Mental Health Specialist will assess client needs through various communication channels and deliver therapeutic interactions while ensuring effective documentation and service referrals.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with clients in a therapeutic manner to provide support and assistance
• Assess service requests and respond according to established procedures
• Document assessments, interventions, and client interactions in a timely manner

Required qualifications

• Four years of relevant full-time paid experience in a mental health field or a Bachelor's Degree in a related area
• New Jersey Licensed Mental Health Specialist certification
• Experience handling crisis intervention situations
• Ability to work under time and decision-making pressure
• Familiarity with documentation and assessment procedures in mental health services
