Job Summary

Providing essential support to clients of the 988 Lifeline Services, the per diem New Jersey Licensed Mental Health Specialist will assess service requests, offer therapeutic interactions, and ensure effective documentation of client interactions in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with clients in a therapeutic manner to provide support and guidance
• Assess service requests and respond according to established procedures
• Document assessments and interventions in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with policies

Required qualifications

• Four years of relevant full-time paid experience in a mental health field, or a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant mental health, social, or human services field
• Competency in recognizing and addressing the unique needs of clients
• Ability to handle phone requests under time and decision-making pressure
• Experience with crisis intervention
• Willingness to work in a remote setting with a flexible schedule
