Job Summary

Providing essential support to clients of the 988 Lifeline Services, the per diem New Jersey Licensed Mental Health Specialist will assess service needs and offer appropriate referrals while interacting therapeutically with clients in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Interacts with clients in a therapeutic manner to provide support and assistance
• Assesses service requests and responds according to established procedures
• Documents assessments, interventions, and client interactions in a timely manner

Required qualifications

• Current New Jersey Mental Health Specialist license
• Experience in crisis intervention and client assessment
• Ability to handle phone requests under time and decision-making pressure
• Competency in managing documentation and service requests
• Willingness to work in a rotating shift schedule
