New Jersey Licensed Mortgage Processor
Job Summary
To support an experienced Loan Officer, the part-time New Jersey Licensed Mortgage Processor will manage the review of initial applications, ensure compliance with TRID and disclosure requirements, and communicate effectively with underwriting and other processors in a fully remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Review initial mortgage applications for accuracy and compliance with TRID and disclosure requirements
- Evaluate borrower documentation, including tax returns, W-2s, and credit reports, while working within loan origination systems
- Communicate with corporate underwriting, other processors, and wholesale lenders to ensure smooth processing of loans
Required qualifications
- Must currently reside in New York or New Jersey
- 3 years of mortgage processing experience
- Experience with TRID/compliance and disclosure processes
- Ability to evaluate various borrower documentation and utilize loan origination systems
- Experience working with wholesale lenders and familiarity with DU, LP, and Total
