Job Summary
Providing essential clinical care, the contract New Jersey Licensed Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) will conduct psychiatric evaluations, manage medication, and deliver evidence-based treatment to children and adolescents in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities:
- Practice comprehensive mental health medication management through intake and follow-up appointments
- Conduct mental health risk assessments and psychiatric medication evaluations
- Construct patient-centered treatment plans and manage psychiatric medications
Required qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program or accredited PA program
- Unrestricted state license in New Jersey
- Minimum of 2 years in practice
- Active DEA license preferred for NPs and PA-Cs
- Experience or certification in treating minors is preferred
