Job Summary
Managing complex legal cases, the full-time New Jersey Licensed Partner Attorney will advise clients, represent them in court, and supervise teams while working remotely to ensure operational needs are met and the firm's growth is supported.
Key responsibilities:
- Advise clients on business transactions, claim liability, and legal rights while independently managing cases from start to finish
- Represent clients in court, select jurors, argue motions, and conduct extensive legal research and drafting of legal documents
- Supervise associates and staff, ensuring compliance with deadlines and maintaining a high level of ownership over case management
Required qualifications:
- 10+ years' experience in general liability/insurance defense
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in New Jersey (other states a plus)
- Experience in negotiations and mediations
- Superior analytical and research skills
