Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Manager to lead accurate payroll operations and ensure compliance across a multi-state employee population.

Key Responsibilities of the Payroll Manager:
  • Oversee full-cycle, multi-state payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all related payments
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, managing tax requirements and year-end activities
  • Enhance payroll data integrity by managing HRIS, performing reconciliations, and generating detailed reporting for finance and audit needs
Qualifications and Skills for the Payroll Manager:
  • 10-15 years of progressive payroll experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Extensive knowledge of multi-state payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance standards
  • Advanced proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and strong Excel capabilities
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
  • CPP certification is highly preferred
